the major Paris sights, how about some unusual Paris sights, the ones most
tourists never get to see? Or a day trip to the Normandy D-Day beaches, or
the Loire Castles? Include a day at Versailles Castle and Monet's Gardens at
Giverny - the choices are endless, but you'll benefit from our experience
and expertise in creating fabulous private vacations in Paris.

Normandy Tours
Historic Normandy - plan an overnight or longer package to Normandy with its
many sights of historic significance and natural beauty. From Mont St.
Michel (left), one of the seven wonders of the world, to the English Channel
resort towns of Deauville and Trouville, the coastline is fascinating and
beautiful to visit. The port town of Honfleur remains just as it was a
century ago, and will charm you with its winding street and fishing boats.
The historic city of Rouen, where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake at 19,
is known as the "City of 100 spires" for its large variety of medieval
churches. Nothing makes World War II history come to life more than visiting
the D-Day beaches, including Omaha Beach, where Allied forces invaded
occupied France, and the famous American Cemetary at Colleville sur Mer
(right). Drive a bit inland through the beautiful rolling countryside with
its many farms and thatched-roofed, half-timbered houses to discover the
town of Bayeux and the famous medieval Bayeux Tapestry, and centuries-old
lace-making tradition and Lace Museum. Taste Normandy's delicious apple
brandy, Calvados, and the sweet or dry hard apple cider that is served with
traditional crèpes. Stay in a historic chateau, or one of Normandy's many
lovely and charming hotels and inns. Visit Normandy as an excursion during
your trip to Paris, or plan an entire vacation there, or in combination with
Brittany, just to the west.

Loire Valley Tours
Castles of the Loire Valley - plan an overnight or longer package tour to
visit the majestic, historic royal castles like Chambord, Chaumont, Azay le
Rideau and Chenonceau (left). These great castles are legendary,
world-renowned for their beauty and historical importance. Take a stroll
through the medieval city of Tours, feast your eyes on the fabulous gardens
of Villandry, and enjoy the beautiful, rolling countryside of this lovely
area of France. Venture further west to the Anjou to see the impressive
Angers Castle and its exhibit of the Apocalypse Tapestry, the
fairy-tale-like Saumur Castle, or the Abby of Fontevraud and the tomb of
Richard the Lionhearted. The Loire Valley is also home to some of the best
restaurants in France, and some of its most splendid, historic
chateau-hotels.

Bruges, Belgium Tours
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is nicknamed "the Venice of the North" for
its many canals. Bruges is known for its beautifully preserved medieval
architecture and its many museums and galleries. Part of the historic
heritage of Bruges is its lace production, and you can visit the famous Lace
Museum during your tour. Taste hand-made chocolates that Belgium is famous
for, or take a canal boat ride and be transported back to the Renaissance
when Bruges was one of Europe's most important trade centers.
